WHAT TO EXPECT

Maintaining good nutrition is crucial for achieving success as a footballer. At AthleanAcademy, we know how important it is to integrate nutrition into an athlete's training regime. We currently have two avenues in which athletes can access nutrition support: 1 to 1 sessions with our Head of Nutrition, or attending our five week webinar series. 

 

Every individual experiences a unique upbringing with distinct tastes, traditions and access to food. We offer individualised, evidence-based nutrition education that correlates with these traditions and elevates performance. These sessions provide an in-depth experience to those wanting advanced and personal sports nutrition recommendations. Common topics discussed at 1 to 1 sessions include (but are not limited to):

  • Low energy levels

  • Weight gain/ loss

  • Injury prevention/ post surgery nutrition

  • Food intolerances

  • Supplement recommendations

Our 1 to 1 nutrition sessions are most effective as multiple sessions, where follow up on individual goals can be achieved. Professional athletes will require at least three sessions. These sessions will be provided by our Head of Nutrition, Susana.

AthleanAcademy are launching a new and exciting five week webinar series, which will see a range of nutrition topics be discussed, including:

  • Energy and carbohydrate intake

  • Pre, post and match day strategies

  • Hydration planning for tournaments and matches

  • Supplementation strategies

  • And more!​

Each session will last for approximately thirty minutes and can be done on a team basis, or attended as an individual. The webinar will be hosted by our Founder and Head Coach Alfie and Susana.
